Transfer Case Service
Problem: Transfer cases are found on all-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles, and is what divides the power between the front and rear differentials. Transfer case fluid provides lubrication to the gears and other internal components. Heat, moisture, extreme pressure and loads cause the gear oil to break down or to be contaminated, leading to lubrication failure and worn gears.
Solution: Our technicians will remove the old worn-out gear lubricant from the transfer case. Then they'll install new gear oil and the additive package required for your vehicle application. Removal and replacement of your old transfer case lubricant will prevent wear, pitting and corrosion. You will experience quieter operation and extended component life.
